The annual BeforeIBite Pro plan includes a 7-day free trial on iOS (through Apple) and Android (through Google Play), for eligible accounts. This article walks through exactly when you're charged, how to cancel before that, and what happens if you let the trial end.
How long the trial lasts
7 days from the moment you start it. The end time matches the start time — if you started at 3:42 PM on Monday, the trial ends at 3:42 PM the following Monday.
When you're charged
Unless you cancel first, the trial converts to a paid annual subscription: on iOS, Apple bills the annual Pro price to your Apple ID within 24 hours before the trial ends; on Android, Google Play charges your payment method when the trial converts. You'll see the charge on your store receipt or invoice email.
How to cancel before being charged
On iPhone, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → BeforeIBite → Cancel Subscription — Apple recommends doing this at least 24 hours before the trial ends. On Android, open the Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → BeforeIBite → Cancel subscription; cancelling any time before the trial ends stops the charge.
See Manage your subscription for the full step-by-step.
What happens if you cancel during the trial
You can keep using BeforeIBite until the end of the 7 days. After that, your Pro trial ends and you drop back to the free, ad-supported plan — every feature stays available, you'll just see ads again during meal photo analysis (and nutrition label scanning on iOS). Your meal logs and profile stay on your device — nothing is deleted just because you cancelled. You can resubscribe to Pro any time.
What happens if the trial ends without cancelling
Your Pro subscription becomes active and you're charged the annual price. From then on, it auto-renews each year until you cancel. See BeforeIBite plans — free and Pro for the auto-renewal terms.
One free trial per account
Apple grants one free trial per Apple ID per app, and Google Play grants one per Google account per app, for the lifetime of the app. If you've already used a BeforeIBite trial on your account, resubscribing means an immediate charge — not a fresh 7 days. Trials don't transfer between Apple and Google accounts.
